El equipo que realmente uso
Después de diez años, la mochila pesa bastante menos. Una lista breve de las cosas que no salen de casa sin mí.

Every year or so somebody emails me a polite, slightly anxious question about gear. They want to know what's in my bag, with the implication that if they bought the same things they would make the same pictures.
The list, March 2026
One Mamiya 7 with the 80mm. One Leica M6 with a 35 Summicron. A digital body — currently a Q2 — that I use roughly fifteen percent of the time and never enjoy. A Sekonic L-308 light meter. Six rolls of Portra 400, two of Cinestill 800T, one push-process safety roll.
“The bag has gotten lighter every year I've worked. I think this is the actual job.”
The thing nobody asking the question ever wants to hear is that almost none of the answer is in the list. The answer is in how often you go out, how willing you are to come home with nothing, and what you spend your time looking at when you're not working.
